Principal/Senior Engineer

SEECOM has an immediate need for a Principal/Senior Engineer to join our growing team in Northern California. In this role, you will participate in the business development with existing clients and manage complex environmental and engineering consulting services to meet client and company objectives. Supervise all environmental projects based on the Federal, State and local environmental regulatory guidelines governing the site assessment, investigation and remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with hazardous materials, and provide third party review and litigation support for environmental projects. You must possess excellent leadership, communication skills, and capable of developing and maintaining relationships with clients to grow our contaminated site management services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science.
  • 10 to 15 years consulting experience working with significant industrial clients on complex site investigation/remediation projects.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • California P.E or P.G registration is required.

 

Principal/Senior Environmental Planner

SEECOM is seeking a Principal/Senior Environmental Planner to lead the environmental natural resources services related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clear Water Act (CWA) and other related services. The qualified candidate will possess excellent skills in quantitative analysis, writing, interdisciplinary integration and creative thinking, and interpersonal communications. He will manage the natural resources consulting services, environmental planning projects, and expand the Northern California client base and revenue in the area of environmental planning, permitting, water resources, and broad-based natural resources services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Environmental Planning, Ecology or other related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to the management of natural resources, permitting and planning.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in natural resources project management, budgeting, overseeing fieldwork and report completion.

 

Civil/Geotechnical Engineer

SEECOM is seeking a professional Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with minimum of 5 years of experience providing Civil/Geotechnical observation services with strong analytical, detailing, and communication skills. The Civil/Geotechnical Engineer will work closely with internal project team in the development of construction documents for all scales of sustainable site development. Develop and implement innovative design techniques that enhance the productivity of the assignments within the company and ensure engineering designs are in compliance with current applicable state & local regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Experience in development site assessment and feasibility study.
  • Proficiency in CAD and geotechnical software such as LPILE, PLAXIS, and FLAC.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and developing budgets and schedules.
  • California P.E. registration is required.

 

Project Manager

SEECOM is seeking a qualified Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in subsurface characterization and remediation. A motivated professional with proven experience in completing soil, vapor and groundwater remediation projects from initial site investigation through remedial design and construction. A Project Manager with experience in serving multinational, manufacturing, real estate, and energy sector clients to provide a wide range of environmental and engineering services.

Experience in the management of field programs including drilling oversight, remediation system pilot testing, subcontractor scheduling and management, permitting with regulatory agencies, management of junior geologists and engineers, and preparation of budget estimations and technical reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Sciences.
  • Experience in site assessment, remedial investigation, feasibility study, pilot testing and remediation systems.

Environmental Engineer/Geologist

We are seeking a self-motivated Environmental Engineer/Geologist with excellent growth opportunities to join our Northern California professional team and become an integral part of the company. Must possess a B.S. degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or a related field of study with 0-5 years of experience in technical activities directly related to environmental assessment or compliance activities, including report writing and field investigation.

As an Environmental Engineer/Geologist, you will conduct site visits and prepare, in accordance with ASTM Standard Practice, a Phase I Environmental Site Assessments of various property uses such as residential, commercial, industrial, and distribution buildings for equity investors and mortgages.

Basic environmental science and geology knowledge, excellent written and communication skills, and understanding of safe work practices. Conduct field site investigations and audit activities, analyze field and laboratory data reports, complete compliance reports, prepare air and water discharge permit applications, develop design plans, and construction specifications. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
